| January 20th, 2010 |

==== OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE ====
London - Square Enix Ltd., the publisher of Square Enix® interactive entertainment products in Europe and other PAL territories, announces DEATH BY CUBE, a brand new title for Xbox LIVE® Arcade for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, is available from today priced 800 points.
Turn the tables on mysterious cubes hell-bent on your destruction. Aim for the highest score possible by shooting enemies, while avoiding an overwhelming amount of bullets!
The closer an enemy gets, the more points you’ll earn shooting it down, so take the risk to go for gold on each stage. Chips obtained upon completion of each stage can be used to unlock new stages and upgrade your attributes. Upgrades include a choice of enhanced shooting and dash abilities.
By strategically dashing through enemies to confuse them and deflecting attacks with your shield, you can defeat enemies of all sizes. The controls - simple yet challenging to master - make destroying a slew of enemies both exhilarating and addictive. Take on missions in single player mode or enjoy a heated battle in multiplayer mode. DEATH BY CUBE’s multiplayer mode allows up to 8 players to compete to achieve a variety of goals such as destroying the enemy base, nailing the highest score, and more!
ABOUT DEATH BY CUBE
LEO is a robot—one who awakes to find that he has lost his memory. All he knows is that he must reboot the heroine robot, and so he sets forth on a mission to regain his memory. To his surprise, he finds the world filled with battalions of enemy robots, drenched in bright red oil and shooting bullets every which way. LEO and his reliable allies dash, shield and fend for themselves as they face large amounts of enemies.
What will LEO look at beyond the barrage of enemies, bullets and red oil?
